The egg roll would be called spring rolls anywhere else, because they were in paper-thin spring roll dough rather than the thicker and more textured egg roll dough. These egg rolls were soggy and tasted like nothing I’ve ever tasted before (not a compliment). The fried rice has devoid of veggies, egg and other seasonings, which in and of itself isn’t unforgivable if it weren’t for the fact that that the rice wasn’t flipped enough in the wok, so the outer regions of the rice were lightly fried and coated with soy sauce, while the inside regions were literally just white rice. To add insult to injury, the staff was rude and disinterested.
On a more positive note, their garlic chicken wasn’t half-bad, although it wasn’t nearly as spicy as it should have been given this is supposed to be a spicy dish. Still, not enough to salvage what was otherwise a pretty awful dining experience. Definitely regret coming here and certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone."},{"@type" : "Review","author" : {"@type" : "Person","name" : "SoCo Savage"},"reviewRating" : {"@type" : "Rating","ratingValue" : "5", "bestRating" : "5"},"reviewBody" : "Not being a true fan of Asian food, this place changed my mind. Reading these positive reviews had me feeling like I was missing something, but I have to say, this is some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten (and I lived in China for a year). This is your typical, Americanized version of Chinese food, so comparisons to the food found in China is unfair. That said, compared to other Americanized chinese restaurants here in the USA, this was still really bad.

I’m always cautious about hole in the wall places to eat, I feel like you either get food poisoning or the greatest food you have ever eaten. This is definitely the best Mexican food I have had in many many years.

Look for La Lupita’s just past Safeway. The food and family that own and run it are great. It’s been forever that I’ve had homemade tamales this good and my husband loved his enchiladas. You won’t be disappointed if you love authentic Mexican food!

I was passing through Lamar on a nationwide motorcycle trip, and Lupita’s was close to my motel. After weeks on the road, I’m tired of making a decision on what to eat, so often I asked the wait staff what they like best. No hesitation, the young man said Mushroom Enchiladas – mom’s secret recipe that her family convinced to put on the menu. Excellent dish, one of the best Mexican dishes I’ve ever eaten. Very spicy, but the mushroom enchilada sauce calms it down. The mix of flavors is just unique. Wait staff are super friendly and enthusiastic, and the cook came out to make sure I was completely satisfied. No problem there! Definitely a 5 star meal and experience. Glad I stopped in. Heck, I might move to Lamar just to eat there3 or 4 times a week!

Love their chips and salsa, salsa is spicy and tasty and chips are great. Even though it’s a free appetizer it goes a long way. Margaritas are the star here! Just see my photo. Restaurant is cozy and staff is friendly. Been coming here for years.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner tonight. We are passing through Lamar and we were pleasantly surprised to find this spot. Food was delicious and the portions were big for us to finish, we got our money worth. It was nice to see staff practicing protective measures like wearing masks and cleaning the tables thoroughly between patrons. Thank you for considering others safety not many places do anymore and being in our late 60s we appreciated the care.

The staff was friendly.
We ordered two double Bacon cheese burgers with a large order of chili cheese tater tots and 2 large Lemonades.
The burgers were great. The lemonade was superb. I hadn't had a lemonade that good in a long time. The chili cheese tater tots were a disappointment. Not because of how they tasted because they were tasty, but for the price there was only 12-14 tots in a long narrow tray that was only half full. I felt cheated even though they were good.
Other than that, we were pleased.
I would recommend this place, but not the chili cheese tater tots."}]}

Not a bad Lil Caesars, only sometimes is it almost inedible. The main issue is for some reason delivery isn’t allowed in the last hour and a half. Just needs staff with a better work ethic.

27 minutes for 2 pizzas. Staff more interested in chatting than working. I could bought frozen pizzas and ate in the time they took. They asked me twice what I ordered. One of the ones that asked was the one that took my order. There was only 2 of us that ordered and I was first!

If I could give it less stars I would. The employees clearly didn’t want to be there and the tacos were mediocre at best. The potatoes were great though.
Manager refused to give me a refund over the phone. Apparently I have to take more time from work and come down there? No thanks! The point of ordering fast food is that it doesn't take an hour throughout the day and multiple steps to get something that in the end is gonna be substandard anyway! I'm busy, if she doesn't want to manage her store I sure don't have the time to do it.
So I called corporate, and they indicated that they had MULTIPLE complaints at their level about this store. Corporate will be giving me my refund. I recommend, when (not if) you have an issue with your food here, just skip the manager and go straight to corporate."},{"@type" : "Review","author" : {"@type" : "Person","name" : "Leland Ladden"},"reviewRating" : {"@type" : "Rating","ratingValue" : "4", "bestRating" : "5"},"reviewBody" : "Truck parking in the back of the building. While I have had plenty of difficulties with the Lamar McDonald’s (like everyone else in town), I’d gotten a couple of meals that, after very careful coaching, resembled what I ordered. But today’s the last time I darken their doors. Not only was my order not what I asked for, not only did it not include the modifications I paid extra for, but the burgers were old and stale – the one bite I took was like chewing a hockey puck filled with onions that smelled like the floor of a gym. Absolutely repulsive.

It’s a quick stop for a lot of passerby. Gas and food. Normal truck stop food for travelers but it will not disappoint. For those unfamiliar with godfathers its a good competitor for Black Jack or Papa John’s. Super tasty in my opinion. The sub sandwhich shop is nice too. Fresh veggies daily. I have been in where it gets packed and sometimes there’s a wait but associates & others are usually polite and very friendly.
